Welcome to the Blue Mountains Badminton Community website! We are a group of badminton enthusiasts located in the picturesque Blue Mountains region of New South Wales, Australia. We have been playing for over 20 years at Katoomba Sports and Aquatic Centre. Our website is dedicated to promoting the sport of badminton and providing a one-stop resource for players of all levels and ages in the local community. We have community games every Sunday from 8 am and currently member games on Thursdays, additional games are arranged via our Whatsapp group.

We have now installed a newly made banner with vibrant colours outside Katoomba Sports and Aquatic Centre. It will be visible to all who enter the centre. It should attract even more players. Blue came up with the idea and Yulin came up with the design. (pictured below)

Boudi, one of our founding members has passed away, It was a shock to everyone; as he was always energetic on the court and no sign of slowing down even in his 70's. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Everyone is sad about his passing and he will be greatly missed.
